Play of the Day: Donald Trump is Tweeting About Witch Hunts Again
The president is back on Twitter after it's revealed he is being investigated for potentially obstructing justice.
After the Golden State Warriors beat the Cleveland Cavaliers in the NBA Finals last week, former president Barack Obama texted Golden State star Kevin Durant to congratulate him. Meanwhile, The Tonight Show's Jimmy Fallon joked, Cleveland star Lebron James got a one-word text from someone else reading "loser."
The Washington Post reported this week saying that President Donald Trump is under investigation by special prosecutor Robert Mueller for obstruction of justice. Late Show's Stephen Colbert joked that Trump may need a new hat reading "Make Justice Obstructed Again," while Fallon joked about the news coming out on Trump's birthday. The Daily Show's Trevor Noah joked that Trump and his tweets will be obsessed with Hillary Clinton until he dies, while Jimmy Kimmel joked that one of Trump's tweets will make witch hunts great again. Colbert also compared Trump's tactics -- including telling Lester Holt that he fired James Comey over the Russia investigation -- to those from the Salem witch trials.
