President Donald Trump tweeted about Hillary Clinton this week, criticizing her new book and the blame she puts on others for her 2016 election loss. Late-night joked about the tweets, with Conan O'Brien joking about Trump's wife, Late Night's Seth Meyers joking about his athletic prowess and The Tonight Show's Jimmy Fallon joking about his reading comprehension.
Trump met with Democratic leaders this week, but it is unclear if a deal was struck on the DACA program or on the border wall funding. O'Brien joked about Trump's contradictory tweets, saying Trump would now say that he was born in Kenya The Daily Show's Trevor Noah noted Trump's apparent reversal on DACA, comparing him to Star Wars characters upon completion of the Death Star. Noah also noted that Trump said that engineers were "testing" samples of the border wall, prompting Noah to imagine a scenario that involved crash test dummies wearing sombreros, concrete and Trump saying that "some of them are good people."
