Play of the Day: Trump and Tillerson Compare IQ Tests
The president jokingly suggested that the State Department chief and he could measure their intelligence quotients.
White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders told reporters this week to "get a sense of humor" after being asked questions about President Donald Trump making a joke in a recent interview. Late Night's Seth Meyers joked about her comment, saying she might not be the best messenger being that she looks like "she just found a joint in her son's bible."
The joke she was referencing was that Trump, while discussing reports of Secretary of State Rex Tillerson calling him a moron, told Forbes "I think it's fake news, but if he did that, I guess we'll have to compare IQ tests. And I can tell you who is going to win." Jimmy Kimmel joked "I'm not sure Donald Trump could finish the maze on the back of a Denny's kids menu" about the news, while Late Show's Stephen Colbert and The Tonight Show's Jimmy Fallon each had versions of IQ tests that Trump and Tillerson could have taken.
