Survey: Attitudes Towards Government Shutdown Among Federal Employees

On December 27-28, 2018, Government Business Council (GBC) and GovExec.com fielded a survey assessing attitudes and opinions about the ongoing government shutdown among federal government employees.

A survey of 1,435 federal government respondents in both civilian and active duty military roles finds broad opposition to the ongoing federal government shutdown, and reveals some of the reasons behind this opposition. Respondent demographics are also included.

The full, topline survey results can be found below. A detailed analysis of the findings is available here.
