Play of the Day: More From the Special Counsel's Report

Sometimes, the president's staff is like a baby with snake-killing skills: Reassuring, yes, but also terrifying.

According to reports, President Donald Trump is already thinking about a post-presidential memoir as a follow-up to his 2015 book, Crippled America. Late Show's Stephen Colbert joked about the news, saying that all Trump will have to do is throw "How I" before the previous book's title.

Late-night shows were still processing and joked about the release of Special Counsel Robert Mueller's report. The Tonight Show's Jimmy Fallon joked about the redactions in the report, saying that it looks like a Mad Libs book, while Colbert joked that the famed Trump Tower meeting featured more foreigners than one of Trump's hotels. Last Week Tonight's John Oliver joked about the parts of the report that suggested Trump's staff actively didn't carry out Trump's orders so that the administration could avoid obstructing justice and said it is "both reassuring and terrifying" and joked that it was like hearing your spouse say "You don't have to worry about the snake, because the baby killed it."
