Play of the Day: The Wall Will Only Be Beautiful on the U.S. Side

Forget the Mexicans: Americans want to stare at something pretty.

President Donald Trump donated his first quarter presidential salary to the National Park Service this week when Press Secretary Sean handed over a mock check to Interior Secretary Ryan Zinke and Harpers Ferry National Historic Park Superintendent Tyrone Brandyburg before Spicer's press briefing. Late Show's Stephen Colbert joked about the news, noting that Spicer looks like he shrunk next to the tall Zinke and Brandyburg. Colbert also joked about the $78,333.32 as a portion of the Interior cuts in Trump's budget, keying in on Brandyburg's facial expressions during the event.

Tuesday night, The Daily Show's Trevor Noah looked at the Trump administration's requirements for the border wall. Most notably, Noah joked that the six feet of wall going underground won't fool anyone trying to get to the U.S., as seven feet isn't that much harder to dig. Noah also joked about Trump's want for an "aesthetically pleasing" American side of the wall, joking about the relative beauty of two of Trump's children.
