The president wants a "space force."
Rumors are circulating that President Donald Trump is looking to shake up his Cabinet by firing Veterans Affairs chief David Shulkin and replacing him with the Energy Department's Rick Perry. The Tonight Show's Jimmy Fallon joked that Trump might do the job himself, because he is a veteran of several affairs.
During a speech in California this week, Trump proposed a new branch of the military and dubbed it "Space Force." The Daily Show's Trevor Noah and Late Night's Seth Meyers compared Trump to a child, while Fallon joked that Trump probably wants Buzz Lightyear to lead the new military branch. Late Show's Stephen Colbert joked about military defense in space and suggested Trump build a "space wall" that looks eerily like the Galactic Empire great construction project.
