President Donald Trump said on Twitter Tuesday that he's "very concerned" about Russian election meddling in the 2018 midterm elections and that the Russians "don't want Trump." The Tonight Show's Jimmy Fallon joked about the tweet, saying Russian President Vladimir Putin responded to Trump with "fake news. Is total witch hunt."
Ivanka Trump announced Tuesday that she will wind down her fashion line so that she can pursue her goals in Washington. Late Night's Seth Meyers joked that many foreign children will be losing jobs while Jimmy Kimmel noted the history of Trump business successes (and failures). Late Show's Stephen Colbert joked about Ivanka's want to further pursue her career in public policy, joking that her potential graduate thesis would simply be named "Thanks, Dad."
