Play of the Day: More Presidential Alerts Coming To Your Phone

Maybe Trump thinks it's just a text message.

The White House announced this week that President Donald Trump will donate his salary this quarter to the Small Business Administration. Late Night's Seth Meyers joked that Trump knows a lot about running a small business: Just inherit a large business and wait.

All cell phone users in the United States received an alert on their phones on Wednesday titled a "Presidential Alert" that was a test of a new system to warn Americans of a weather disaster, missile launch or other emergency. Meyers joked that Trump "forced himself on all of us," while The Tonight Show's Jimmy Fallon joked that it was the first time Eric Trump received a text from his dad. Late Show's Stephen Colbert joked that the system would be especially terrible if Trump used it to alert the U.S. of a tsunami because it would be full of emojis and hyperbole, while Kimmel put up another alert from Trump that was just a request for "five Diet Cokes."
