The feud between Trump and Pelosi is gaining steam.
The shutdown continues and no end seems to be coming soon, but hip hop star Cardi B weighed in on the events on Instagram, noting that the 2013 shutdown was for health care, as opposed to the border wall. The Daily Show's Trevor Noah joked about the news, saying it would be funny if we found out that President Donald Trump was a big Cardi B fan because "'Bodak Yellow' is his favorite song and also the color of his hair."
After Speaker of the House Rep. Nancy Pelosi suggested Trump postpone the State of the Union, the president fired back by canceling Pelosi's military transportation to Belgium and Afghanistan in a letter sent Thursday. Jimmy Kimmel joked about the news, saying it's the equivalent of "you can't break up with me. I break up with you." Late-night hosts also noted that Trump said Pelosi could fly commercial for the trip, with Noah noting that it says something about Trump that flying commercial is an insult, while Late Show's Stephen Colbert noted that JetBlue doesn't exactly fly to a war zone.
