Play of the Day: Trump and Kim Are on Their Way to Vietnam
A new summit between the North Korean and American leaders will begin this week.
The Academy Awards were held Sunday and late-night hosts had some political jokes about it. The Tonight Show's Jimmy Fallon joked that North Korean leader Kim Jong-un could win the award for Best Animated Short, while Conan O'Brien joked that President Donald Trump hated that Best Foreign Language Film wasn't won by an American movie.
Trump and Kim will meet this week in Vietnam to discuss nuclear proliferation and Kim is traveling by train. Jimmy Kimmel joked about the news, saying that the 2,800-mile journey is long for Kim, but longer for the prisoners carrying the train. Fallon joked about the news, saying Kim and Trump are similar in that they both cut their own hair and they both inherited money from their fathers. Kimmel also joked that Trump is on his way to Vietnam, referencing Trump's bone spurs in the process.
