President Donald Trump's administration is putting together a climate panel and William Happer, the president's choice to head the panel, is so found of carbon emissions that he once said the "demonization of carbon dioxide is just like the demonization of the poor Jews under Hitler." Late Show's Stephen Colbert joked about the news, saying comparing random things to Hitler isn't allowed because that's the kind of thing Hitler did.
Trump is traveling to Vietnam this week to meet again with North Korean leader Kim Jong-un. Colbert joked about the news, saying that Trump might not negotiate well with Kim, trading their nuclear program for a "signed photo of Denis Rodman," while The Tonight Show's Jimmy Fallon joked that the meeting will be romantic and only have Trump, Kim and Kenny G.
