Play of the Day: Hickenlooper's Movie Night With His Mom
The Democratic hopeful had an awkward outing with his mother in the 1970s.
The 2020 Democratic field is largely made up of members of Congress and governors, but former Rep. Beto O'Rourke does not have a regular job and was even touring the country as part of his campaign. The Tonight Show's Jimmy Fallon joked about O'Rourke saying that it makes sense that one of the frontrunners is a "40 year old unemployed guy living out of a van."
Among the Democrats running for president is former Colorado Governor John Hickenlooper, who told CNN that he accidentally saw the movie Deep Throat with his mom because he didn't know what the movie was about. Late Night's Seth Meyers joked about the news, saying "I saw the topless scene in Titanic with my mom and we haven't spoken since" while Fallon joked that it was "an awkward Mother's Day."
